give Thanks

Hi. Today my card uses the sketch from this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge. You can see the challenge here. Below is the sketch.

Here's my card:

I started with the filigree pumpkin from DRS Designs. It was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with copper EP and layered on some copper colored CS. The greeting, also from DRS Designs, was also stamped and embossed with the same EP. The leaves were die cut with a SB die set and glued onto the card. The pumpkin piece was attached with foam adhesive for some dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Trick or Treat

Happy Monday! Trust you had a good weekend and found some time to get inky! I've been having fun playing with the new images and greetings just released by DRS Designs. For today's card I created a little scene using the new iron fence (771P), Trick or Treat greeting, Spooky Tree and  Ghost Family images. I stamped the tree and ghosts first, colored with Copics, sponged on the grass and sky areas and then stamped the greeting and fence with Versafine Black ink and heat embossed. I smudged a bit of ink behind the fence, so I added those pumpkins to cover it up. :-)

On the inside I stamped the rest of the Trick or Treat greeting and added some candy corn.

Be sure to check out the on line store to see these images and more from DRS Designs.

Expect the Unexpected

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! DRS Designs is about to release some new Halloween images and greetings which I think you will like. My card today features a new greeting, Expect the Unexpected (751E) on the front and a new image and another greeting on the inside, but first the outside...

The greeting, accent bats and Silhouette graveyard were all stamped with Versafine Black ink, heat embossed with clear EP and then Distress inks were sponged on for the sky and ground.

On the inside the new Deco Halloween greeting (707E) was stamped with Versafine Black ink and then I added the Scary Skull (712G), which was stamped, colored and fussy cut. I used an Action Wobbler so when you open the card it kind of pops out at you and moves around a bit. I like the effect.

Be sure to check back all this week to see more new images from the DT Members. Check the on line store here on Wednesday for the new images.

BOO!

Hi! My card today features a sneak peak at a soon to be released Halloween image from DRS Designs. I used this week's sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Isn't it a great sketch!

I started with the black card base and stamped the Spooky Eyes Background with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white EP. Next I used white CS, stamped the new Boo image with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics, cut it into a strip and then die cut the end with a SB circle die. It's layered onto orange CS. The pumpkin was created using an EK Success 3 in 1 paper punch.

Cupcake Inspiration 453

My card today is for this week's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge to create a spectacular background. Here's the cupcake for inspiration.

I started with white CS and sponged on some TH Distress Oxide inks in blues and purple. I used a brush and water to add some splashes. Once it dried I stamped the greeting with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white EP. After gluing the panel to the black card base I added the die cut ghosts which were made with this month's small die of the month ghost dies.

I used today's sketch from Splitcoast stampers for my layout. It's a great sketch!

Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Bling!

Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. My card today features just the hat from the Cowboy Gear 4 in 1 stamp. I stamped the hat 4 times onto watercolor paper, colored them with some Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens, fussy cut them and attached them to the pink heart. Before attaching the heart to the white panel I stamped the Accessories greeting with black ink onto the heart and then lined it up with my Misti so it would line up perfectly onto the white panel. Some clear rhinestones were added to the hats for sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today.
