Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing another Christmas in July card. Gotta love getting a head start on the Christmas cards!! This one features our Bells and Bow and matching greeting.
I started by stamping the single jingle bell randomly on white CS. After coloring them with Copics, I punched the bottom two corners, sponged the edges with green ink, layered it on some gold CS and added a green ribbon before attaching it to the white card base. The main image was stamped on white CS, colored with Copics, die cut and layered on the same gold CS. Some diamond stickles were added to give the bells some shine. Finally the greeting was stamped in black on white CS, bottom corners punched, edges sponged with some green before adding the gold mat. Hope you like it!
Remember to check out this week's challenge to use a charm on your card. We'd love to have you play along.
Thanks for stopping by today!

DRS Designs' Thursday Challenge
This week's challenge at DRS Designs is to use a charm on your card. I must admit I have quite a few charms and rarely use them on my cards. I don't know why. I think they look really cute, but I just don't seem to remember to use them. So I'm grateful for this challenge. At least I'm using up one charm from my stash! :-)
I started by stamping my trio of trees with silver ink on navy CS and then embossed them with silver EP. A star border punch was used on the top of this panel before adding the silver CS layer. Some shimmery silver ribbon and the star charm were added and then everything was attached to the navy card base. It's a pretty simple card and quick to create. I like the look. Hope you do too.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you can join in the fun this week!!

Happy Birthday
I hope you have all had a great weekend and got a reprieve from the heat wave!! This weekend has been so pleasant!! My husband and I were able to sit out on the deck and enjoy our swing. Something we haven't been able to do as much as we'd like. It felt so good!!
Today I want to share with you a card I created using our new Hula Pig. I think you will be seeing a lot of her in the near future. She is just too cute!!
I stamped the easy dot background in Navy ink on So Saffron paper and layered it on the white card base. The sentiment was also stamped in Navy on white CS, then layered on So Saffron and then Navy CS that was punched with a shell type border. The paper flower was added with a glue dot. For the main image, I stamped the fanfare square in Navy ink on white CS, die cut the center out, then layered it on white, So Saffron and Navy squares. The Hula Pig was stamped on white CS, with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics, then fussy cut. I also cut the strands of her grass skirt and curled them a bit before centering her inside the opening of the frame with glue dots. I think she goes great with this birthday sentiment.
This week DRS Designs is sponsoring 365 Cards. Here's a card I created using their sketch design for yesterday.

The card base is white with a layer of Pretty in Pink stamped with our Interlocking Hearts background in VersaMark ink. The sentiment was stamped in Pretty in Pink ink on the same pink CS, cute with nesties and layered on a white scalloped nestie oval. I added some pink dots with a marker and a sheer pink ribbon. The little punched umbrellas on the vertical strip were embedded embossed after punching the white strip with a border punch. The horizontal strip was punched with the same border punch. The pink strip was embossed with a CB Mr & Mrs border folder, then layered on the white strip.

Lots of Dots for Christmas
Today's challenge at SCS is to use lots of dots. I immediately thought of DRS Designs' swirling snowflakes stamp. Here's my card for the SCS and Merry Monday challenge.
The main red panel was stamped with VersaMark ink, then embossed with detail white embossing powder. A strip of white CS was punched with the MS snowflake border punch and a red gingham ribbon was added. The snowflake was created using the Nestie snowflake die. After attaching it to the ribbon panel, I created a small gingham bow using my bow easy. The sentiment was stamped with VersFine Cardinal ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and die cut with a nestie banner die. Everything is attached to a white card base.
Thanks for taking a look!

Christmas in July
Happy Monday everyone! Today I have a Christmas in July card to share with you. I love to make Christmas cards and try to make a few each month to avoid that last minute holiday rush! :-) Today I have used the Three Wisemen Ornament along with the Joy to the World sentiment.
I started with a teal card base with a layer of white CS that was embossed with the CB swirl folder after stamping the sentiment in Black ink. The teal ribbons were added before attaching this panel to the card. The ornament was stamped in Memento Black ink on white CS, colored with copics, fussy cut and then the edges of the ribbon and the star were colored with a Sakura Clear Jelly Roll pen. Some pop dots were used to give the ornament some dimension.

Happy Monday
Happy Monday! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. I just got back from a week in Virginia visiting family for Independence Day. And I had a wonderful time, especially with my two grand kids!!
Today I have a Birthday card that features our Fire Fighter Gear.
I started by stamping my image in Memento Black ink, coloring it with Copics, die cutting it with a nestie, sponging the edges while still in the die with Real Red ink, then added a red and black layer. I stamped the image a second time, but only colored the fire fighter hat, then fussy cut it and added it to the image for some dimension. The background was created by stamping the Easy Dot background in Real Red and Barely Banana inks. Some banners were die cut and added beneath the main image. The birthday greeting was stamped in Memento Black ink, die cut with a nestie and layered on red and black banners. Some tiny red stars were added to finish the look.
There's still time to join this week's Summer Fun/Sun challenge!! You can see details here.

It's All About You!
Happy Monday!! Are you ready for this weekend's festivities? I am. I get the week off, so I'm in Virginia with family for the week. I'm looking forward to the big family cookout and fireworks on Thursday!! This is also a week of several birthdays for my family. So today I have a birthday card to share with you.
I started by stamping the ribbon border in VersaMark on the Old Olive panel and then layered it on the rust card base. The sentiment was stamped in black on white CS, die cut and layered on the rust CS. The main image was stamped, colored with Copics and die cut with oval nesties. In order to fit everything on the card, I off set the main image and cut part of it away. Hope you like it.
