The Weather Outside Challenge

Hi Everyone. This week's challenge at DRS Designs is the "weather outside." Pretty easy challenge I think. Here's my card.

I started by stamping the outdoor scene on white CS. The row of trees was stamped with black ink, then the sky was sponged with Night of Navy ink. Some snowflakes were added with white ink, then I made them sparkle some with some Wink of Stella. I added a frost line with a Copic marker and then used the Wink of Stella for the snow too. The window frame was die cut with a Darice die. Here's a close up of the window scene.

I stamped the wood grain with Brushed Corduroy onto the kraft CS, added the little flourishes in the top corners with Night of Navy ink, layered it onto white and then attached it to the kraft base. The sentiment was stamped with Black Onyx ink on white CS and die cut with a Spellbinders die.

I hope you are able to join in the fun and show us your "weather" cards. You could win some awesome new stamps from DRS Designs. You can see details here.

Thanks for stopping by,
shelia
