Merry Christmas!

This week DRS Designs is sponsoring the Christmas Challenge at CRAFT Challenges. Since I love making Christmas cards I thought I'd play along. I try to create 4 or 5 Christmas cards each month, but I've not kept up with that goal. So this is the perfect opportunity for me to get refocused. Here's my card.

I started by stamping the trio of trees with Memento green ink, stamping off on scratch paper for the trees in the background. A Sakura Gelly Roll pen was used to add some sparkle to the trees. SB dies were used to cut out the frame which is glued onto the tree panel. The sleigh and deer are SU dies. I used gold baker's twine for the reins for the deer. The Merry Christmas greeting was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder before die cutting with a SB banner die. The banner, sleigh and deer are all attached with foam adhesive for some dimension.

I hope you can join in the fun at CRAFT Challenges this week. I'd love to see what kind of Christmas card you create. Plus you could be the winner of the prize from DRS Designs.

Thanks for stopping by,

shelia
