Cupcake Inspiration

Happy Palm Sunday!! We had an excellent service at our church this morning. I'm looking forward to celebrating Christ's death and resurrection this coming weekend.

This week DRS Designs is the sponsor at Cupcake Inspirations. Here's a photo of the darling cupcakes that inspired my card today.

                                                           


My card base is Bazzil yellow with a layer of dark green CS. On top of the green is a layer of white that was sponged with Bashful Blue ink using a scallop oval to create the sky. My sentiment Happy Easter was stamped on the sky with Memento Black ink. The same green CS was punched with a Fiskars border punch for the grass. The white fence was created with white CS using a Memory box picket fence die. My fuzzy  chick was stamped with Memento Black ink on white CS, colored with Copics, fussy cut and attached between the layers of grass with a glue dot. The three flowers were also stamped on white CS, colored with copics, fussy cut and attached between the layers of grass with glue dots. A bright yellow ribbon was added to complete the look. Hope you like it!
