Today's challenge at DRS Designs is to use embossing on your card, either heat, dry or both. Here's my card for the challenge.
This card uses two brand new stamps from DRS Designs that will be released very soon. I love this image (Silhouette Bride and Groom 026G) and greeting (024F). I used dry embossing. The white card base has a panel of white attached that was embossed with the CB Damask folder. I think it makes a very elegant background. Some sheer white ribbon was added, along with some half pearls. The image and greeting were stamped with Memento Black ink on white CS, colored with Copics, die cut and attached to the card with pop dots. You can't really see it in the photo, but everything was spritzed with Shimmering spray. It looks so pretty in real life!! I also used a star dust gelly roll pen on the wedding rings to make them pop a bit.
Thanks for stopping by. We'd love to have you play along with this week's challenge. You can see details here.
Until next time,
shelia
Very pretty...the damask folder really does make a great background on this elegant card!
ReplyDeleteVery elegant card. Love the graphics and that somewhat playful sentiment.
