Happy First Monday of November! Wow, time sure is speeding by! Can hardly believe October as ended. I guess I'd better get serious about getting Thanksgiving cards created! Thankfully DRS Designs has some new images to help with those cards!
The new wood grain background image (626P) is so versatile. You can stamp it on white CS and color with Copics or stamp on colored paper and create the wood in various shades. The possibilities are endless. I used kraft CS and Memento Cocoa ink to create the wood grain background for this CAS card. Once the background was stamped, I layered it on cocoa CS. The Simply Pumpkin image was stamped on white CS with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and fussy cut. It's attached with foam dots for some dimension. The sentiment was stamped with the Memento Cocoa ink, cut into a banner and layered on the same cocoa CS. The leafy ribbon was added before attaching everything to the card base.
This card could also work for this week's challenge: That's Tasty! Just create a card with something yummy to eat on it and you could be the winner of some new stamps. We'd love to have you join in the fun.
