60th B'day Wishes

My card today is for a friend who is turning 60. I used this week's sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches to create this fun card.

Here's the sketch from TMS:

And here's my card:

I used my Cricut to cut out the 60, washi tape for the background and some square black sequins for the added bling. The small Happy Birthday greeting is part of a larger greeting from DRS Designs. It's a fun sketch to work with and I believe my friend will like this. I was only going to use black and white washi tape, but decided it needed a little color so I added the small flower tape. I like it.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. What a wonderful 60th birthday card you've made! I love the big, bold numbers and square sequin embellishments with just the right amount of color to enhance the black & white color scheme! Thanks for adding your card to the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge!

  2. GREAT card. I really like your use of our sketch and the embellishments you've used look very festive. Thank you for sharing this with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

  3. Super fun card for your friend!! It will make hitting the big 6-0 a bit easier! LOL

  4. Fantastic birthday card for your friend. I agree the flower washi tape was a wonderful addition to the black and white color scheme. Thanks for sharing with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

  5. Great use of washi - love all the colors. This is a great birthday card and would easily be mass produced by cutting out some different numbers. Great job. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
