IC319 at Splitcoast Stampers

Every Saturday there is an Inspiration Challenge at SCS. Here's the card I made for today's challenge.

I was inspired by the colors used here:  http://www.polyvore.com/blue_danube/set?id=41812915
You can check out the challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. They are always fun!

The stamp is DRS Designs (306G) With Deepest Sympathy. The white cardstock is embossed with a CB embossing folder. The blue border was punch with a fiskars border punch. The tulips were made using the wings and branch from the SU 2 step bird punch. I added some rose red ink to the edges of the petals before putting the flowers together. I like the look of these tulips.

Until next time,
shelia

  1. Hi Shelia, Thank you so much for the kind comment on my card! Yes Copic markers are the best for colouring pearls and rhinestones - they colour them beautifully and being alcohol inks, they dry so quickly!
Love your sympathy card here - the tulips look great!!
