So in honor of all the snow and the sledding around the neighborhood I have a snow card to share with you. And this is for this week's Merry Monday challenge #88 to use an animal on your card!!
I started by stamping the playful penguin postage frame in Memento Black on white CS as well as the 4 in 1 snowflakes
in Taken with Teal ink. After coloring the image with Copics and adding
some glitter with a Sakura Stardust pen, I punched the 4 corners and
layered it on some teal, then green CS before adding the ribbon and
putting the whole panel on the white card base. The Let it Snow image
was stamped in Memento Black ink on white CS, colored with Copics and
layered on the same teal and green CS. I added some punched teal
snowflakes with rhinestone centers to finish it off. I like the way this
fun card turned out. Hope you like it!

I'm glad you are enjoying all that snow, Shelia. I do miss how pretty it makes everything look, but I don't miss driving in it, shoveling it, or when it gets dirty ... just stay in and enjoy it while it is fresh! Your playful penguins are doing just that!! It's an adorable card! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a FUN card, Shelia! Looks like these guys know how to enjoy the snow! I grew up in VT and have spent most of my adult life in NC. I remember the snow fondly but I'm so glad I live where it shuts everything down so we can look at it and not have to deal with it! Be safe and thanks for bringing these delightful penguins to Merry Monday!

We've had 3 snowstorms here in PA in the last week (with more coming overnite tonight) and I just love the snow! Makes it feel more like Christmas!
