Love in Pink and Red

Today's card was created for the Free for All challenge at Splitcoast Stampers as well as the color challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs. The F4A challenge was to use the word "love" and the color challenge at ODBD is pink, red and white. Here's my card:

I started with a white card base, added the Fancy Lattice die cut in Pink and then a white frame created with nesties and embossed with a CB Damask folder. The Bible verse, from ODBD Scriptures 9, was stamped in Memento Black on white CS, cut with a romantic rectangle die and sponged with Pretty in Pink ink while still in the die.  The flowers, bow and green flourishes and leaves were added with glue dots. Some pink and red rhinestones were added to the flowers and bow. I also outlined the bow with my Stardust Gelly Roll pen to give it some shimmer. Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Until next time,
shelia

  1. Oh, Shelia, it's wonderful what you can combine two challenges in one! I love how you've used this week's "red, pink, and white" challenge with the Free For All, and it's a beautiful card! Love the embossing for rich texture and the beautiful spray of flowers and leaves. And I always love when there's a Scripture on the front! So glad you've joined us again this week for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! Warm hugs!
