The card base is white, of course, with a layer of white that embossed with a Darice snowflake folder and then spritzed with some shimmery mist. A small strip of white was punched on both edges with a MS snowflake border punch and some sheer ribbon was added before attaching it the the card. The greeting was stamped with Encore Silver ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I used my SB snowflake dies to create the snowflake medallion. It was also spritzed with the shimmer spray. A snowflake button tops it off.
DRS Designs' challenge this week is to use flags, banners or pennants on your card. I needed a sympathy card and used a banner for the sentiment.
The white card base was embossed with a Darice flower folder and then the green panel was added after stamping it with the branch background stamp in VersaMark ink. The lavender panel was embossed with the CB Swiss dots folder. After stamping and die cutting the sentiment, some Mint Melody ink was sponged around the edges. The main image was stamped with Memento Black ink onto White CS, colored with Copics and die cut with nesties. The larger butterfly and one small flower were stamped a second time, colored with Copics and fussy cut. They were added to the card with foam dots for some dimension.
There's still time to join in the fun. You can see details of the DRS challenge here. And the Merry Monday challenge here.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy 4th of July!
