May the sun shine bright

I think Spring is finally here in NW Ohio!! It's warm, the birds are singing, flowers are blooming and green leaves are on the trees! I'm loving it. This beautiful weather inspired me to create today's card.

I started by stamping the picket fence in Memento Black ink on white CS, then coloring it with Copics. Next I masked just a small portion of the fence and stamped the single bird house and colored it with Copics. Both the Love Birds Branch and leafy branch were stamped and colored with Copics. I created a circle stencil for another project and used one of the smaller circles to sponge in yellow ink for the sun. Next I sponged Old Olive for the grass and some Bashful Blue for the sky. I stamped only part of the sun shine bright greeting in the top left hand corner. The panel is layered on Bashful blue CS and then on a white card base. This card just makes me smile!
