Creative Colors challenge #39

This week DRS Designs is proud to be sponsoring the challenge at Creative Colors. The challenge is to use 4 colors and twine on your card. Here are the colors to choose from for this week's challenge.

 

 

 

And here's the card I created.

 

 

 

I started by stamping three different Birthday Sentiments (Birthday Multi Greeting, Vertical 2 Line Brithday Greeting, and Small Script Happy Birthday)  in VersaMark ink onto water color paper and embossing them with detail white embossing powder. After adding water to the water color paper, I brushed on 4 different TH Distress inks. (Evergreen Bough, Spun Sugar. Scattered Straw, and Shaded Lilac) adding more ink till I got the color I wanted. Once that dried the water color panel was attached to a pale pink layer of CS. The same CS was stamped with a Happy Birthday Sentiment in VersaMark ink, embossed with detailed white EP and die cut. Some yellow baker's twine and a pink button were added before everything was attached to the So Saffron card base.
