Challenges

I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made today for some challenges. The first is for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge: Christmas Theme. DRS Designs is one of the sponsors for this challenge and since Christmas cards are my favorite cards to make, I just had to play along.

I started by stamping the triple tree image with Memento Bamboo ink on white CS. After stamping the front trees, I stamped off each time and then added the trees in the background. I sponged some Bashful Blue ink in for the sky and then stamped the Merry Christmas greeting with Versafine Onyx ink. Nestie dies were used to created the green frame. The frame was embossed with a Darice snowflake folder. The small deer were die cut with an Impression Obsession die. Everything is attached to a white card base.

My second card is for this week's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. I thought this color combo was interesting.

My card base is white with a layer of blush CS and then the ruby red CS. The Sparkle greeting was stamped onto the red CS with Gold ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. The stars were die cut with a Darice star set and the littlest stars were punched with an unknown punch that's been in my stash forever. I really like the glittery stars with this greeting. I can think of several friends who'd like this birthday card.

Thanks for stopping by!
