Snow globe Greetings

The challenge this week for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge is all about snow globes. Here's the adorable cupcake image for inspiration.

Aren't these the cutest cupcakes?! We have a cup cake place close by, called "Cake in a Cup." And they won on Cupcake Wars a while back. Every time I participate in these Cupcake Inspiration Challenges, the urge to go to Cake in a Cup is overwhelming!!!! Maybe on my way to work!!

Anyway, for this challe3nge I used the new Tim Holtz snow globe die set to create this snow globe scene. I don't own this die set, a friend does and she came over earlier this week to get inky with me and brought it along. It takes a long time to cut out all the little pieces, but the result is worth it!

After gluing all the pieces together and then onto the blue die cut piece, everything was glued onto the white card base. The greeting is part of a larger greeting from DRS Designs called Christmas Scene Greeting.

I see in the picture that I got some glitter in places other than on the falling snow. Oh well, I usually do end up with glitter everywhere!

Thanks for taking a look and for the fun challenge!

blessings,
shelia
