Hello Everyone. I created a card for this week's challenge at CRAFT Challenge. DRS Designs is one of the sponsors and the theme is inspired by song. Here's the card I created.
I started by die cutting all the pieces and gluing together my jukebox. Nothing says songs like a jukebox, right? Anyway, after completing the jukebox, I die cut the panels, stamped the splatter background with TH Black Soot ink and put everything together on the white card base. The Happy Birthday greeting is part of the larger multi birthday greeting. I cut this image apart years ago and use the pieces individually or together. After stamping the greeting with black ink, the banner was cut with a MFT die, sponged with red ink and popped up on the panel with some fun foam. I really like the way this turned out.
Hope you can stop by the CRAFT Challenge blog and play along with DRS Designs. You could be the winner of a $20 gift certificate to their on line store. You can see details here.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Easter
Hello Everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. We had some unseasonably warm weather this weekend and it was lovely!! Hoping it sticks around, but I have my doubts!
Today I have a fun little Easter card that I created with my grandkids in mind. The Easter Ears Leonard image was stamped onto white CS with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and fussy cut. I set him aside while I created the background scene for him. I stamped the silhouette leaf branch several times with different Distress Oxides inks, trying to match them to the colors of Leonard's Easter egg. The sky was sponged in using a MFT small cloud stencil. The grassy area was die cut with a FL die, sponged with green DO ink and then I stamped the easy grass background image with green ink. Once the grassy area was attached to the card base, I added Leonard with an action Wobbler. Happy Easter was stamped onto white CS, die cut with a banner die and added to the card with foam adhesive for some dimension.
I haven't added anything to the inside yet. I'll do that when it gets closer to Easter. Thanks for stopping by today.
Be sure to check out DRS Designs' on line store for the new amazing catalog and the soon to be discontinued images. You can find those here.

Caught a bug?
Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. I don't know about your area, but here it's flu and cold season. I know so many people who are sick. I was a couple of weeks ago and it feels so good to be back to normal! So with all the friends who are ill, I decided to create a get well card. Here's what I came up with.
I started with the leaf stencil from Altenew to create a quick and easy background for my little lady bugs. I stamped the lady bugs from the 4 in 1 Garden Bugs onto white CS with Memento Black ink, added some red with my Copics and fussy cut them. I didn't want to mess with trying to cut out the little antennae so I cut them off, but stamped the entire lady bug image onto the card front where I wanted them to be and then glued the die cut ones in place with their cute little antennae showing. The Caught a Bug greeting was stamped with VersaFine black ink. I added some Nyvo Crystal Glaze to the lady bugs for some shine. They look so pretty in real life.
On the inside I stamped the Get Well Soon greeting and added one more little lady bug.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are staying healthy and finding some time to get inky! If you haven't seen DRS Designs new catalog, you can check it out here. It is pretty amazing!

Celebrate!
Happy Monday Everyone. Trust you had a wonderful weekend and found some time to get inky! It's cold and snowy here so staying indoors and stamping was just perfect. I enjoyed creating this St. Patrick's Day card. I saw a card in an ad, but cannot remember what the ad was for, but that's where I got the idea for this card.
I started with the green card base, die cut the half circle with a SB die and then added the SB die cut celebrate in white. On a piece of white CS I stamped the shamrocks with SU Old Olive ink as well as the Happy St. Patrick's Day greeting and glued the panel inside. The small shamrocks were stamped with the same Old Olive ink in the front four corners.
The word celebrate tended to disappear even with the shamrocks stamped on the inside, so I die cut the word again in the same green CS as the card base and glued it behind the white, off setting it a bit.
Here's a look at the inside.
DRS Designs has a new full color catalog featuring over 1000 images with over 600 full color card samples. Wow!! You can see details here. To make room for some new images DRS Designs will soon be retiring 92 images. You can see those images here. There are some really cute images that will be retiring, so you might want to check them out. I know there are quite a few that I'm gonna miss!!
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are staying warm and dry!!
