As you serve...

Today's sketch challenge at Split Coast Stampers is a clean and simple design that I thought would be perfect for a card to send to my son in law who is currently deployed with the Navy. I liked the simple design and kept it that way for mailing.

The card base is white CS with three strips of red, white and blue DP from my stash. The Bible Verse from ODBD Scripture Bookmark set was stamped with black ink onto white CS, cut into a rectangle, sponged with real red ink and then layered on blue CS. The red panel was punched with a star border before attaching the sentiment.

I am also entering this into ODBD Shining Light Challenge to create a red, white and blue card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

blessings,
shelia
