With Mother's Day right around the corner, I thought I'd share a card I created for the occasion.
The Chevron background
was stamped with Taken with Teal ink on white CS and layered on teal
CS. The vertical strip was embossed with a CB chevron folder. The
sentiment is part of a Mother's Day Greeting stamp.
I inked up the Happy Mother's Day portion of the stamp with a Memento
Black pen, stamped it on white CS, die cut it with a banner die and
layered it on the same teal CS. The flowers
were stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with copics, die cut and
layered on a scalloped oval. Some pale green rhinestones were added to
the centers of the flowers.
This
week's challenge is to "Put it on the Chalkboard," a fun technique
using white ink on black CS. We'd love to have you play along.
Instructions on the technique and details for the challenge can be seen here.
Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time,
shelia
