A Cheerful Heart

I created this card for Our Daily Bread's Challenge to use stitching, real or faux on your cards. I did some faux stitching on the sentiment panel. This was a fairly quick and simple card to create. I started by die cutting all the flowers and gluing them together with glue dots. The white panel was embossed with a Darice basket weave folder. I really like the look of this embossing folder. The sentiment was stamped on white with black ink, die cut and then while still in the die I used a Memento Black marker to do the faux stitching. A flourish and some rhinestones complete the look.

Thanks for stopping by,
shelia

  1. Oh, Shelia, it's so nice to see you and one of your cards again!! Missed you! What a beautiful card with the wonderful embossed background (yes I agree - it's lovely), and I love your beautiful flowers and leaves that showcase this wonderful Scripture verse that a cheerful heart is really great medicine!! So glad you've joined us for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge, sweet friend! Hugs!
