Challenges

I have two cards to share with you today that I created for some challenges sponsored by DRS Designs.  The first is for DRS Designs own weekly challenge: Creative Piercing. I added some pierced lines diagonally on the strawberry panel.

I created the background paper by stamping the smallest line from the Woven Plaid image with Memento Ladybug ink. I used my Misti to keep the lines straight. I also used the Misti to stamp the 4 in 1 ants with Versafine Black Onyx ink. The Ant Picnic image was stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics, die cut, pierced and layered on black CS. The soon to be released Summer Story greeting (881C) was stamped with Versafine Black Onyx, die cut and layered on black CS. A bakers twine bow completes the look.

My second card is for this week's challenge at The C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog which is a sketch challenge this week. DRS Designs is sponsoring this challenge. So you have two ways to win some goodies from DRS Designs. Here's the sketch:

First I stamped the silhouette golfer with Versafine Black Onyx ink on white CS. I used the Misti so I could stamp again to ensure a deeply colored image. The greeting is also stamped with VErsafine Black Onyx ink. My SB Grand Calibur broke yesterday so no die cuts on this card. I used my paper cutter to cut the two into rectangles, used a corner punch to round the corners and layered them on navy CS. The background was created by stamping the Everything Golf image with Versafine Majestic Blue ink. Again I used my Misti to line up the image, so I could stamp nice and straight and even. How did I manage before the Misti existed?! The corner pieces were punched, glued on and some white half pearls were added.
